The Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs), Erick Thohir, has reshuffled the Board of Commissioners and Directors of Holding DEFEND ID, a state-owned enterprise operating in the defense industry. One of the companies undergoing this reshuffle is PT DAHANA. The reshuffle was given with the reading of the Minister’s Decree, which includes the dismissal and appointment of members of the Board of Commissioners and Board of Directors. The decrees are numbered SK-306/MBU/12/2024 for the Board of Commissioners and SK-304/MBU/12/2024 for the Board of Directors respectively.

This decree was presented online on Monday, December 16, 2024, and attended by various representatives, including the Assistant Deputy for Manufacturing Industry, Assistant Deputy for SOEs Human Resource Management, Assistant Deputy for Corporate Law, representatives from the Ministry of BUMN (the holder of Series A and Dwiwarna Shares), board members of PT Len Industri (Persero) as holders of Series B shares, and the Board of Commissioners and Directors of PT Dahana.

The Ministry of SOEs dismissed and appointed new members to the Board of Commissioners and Board of Directors to shape the future leadership of PT Dahana. Muhammad Rizal Kamal, Assistant Deputy for SOEs Human Resources, conveyed that this decision was made as a directive from the ministry and not based on personal or performance assessments, but rather to meet the company’s organizational needs.

Chairiah, Assistant Deputy for Manufacturing Industry, emphasized the importance for the newly appointed board members to concentrate on ongoing strategic programs. He stated, “The operation of the Ammonium Nitrate Plant, PT Dahana’s joint venture with DAK Energetics Limited UAE, and the completion of priority industry programs are key tasks ahead. We hope the new board can drive rapid progress for the defense industry, particularly for PT Dahana.”

During the handover ceremony for the new board members, Bobby Rasyidin, President Director of PT Len Industri (Persero), the parent holding of DEFEND ID, expressed his hopes for continued sustainable development. He noted, “The changes in the Board of Directors and Commissioners can alter the existing order. However, I am confident that PT Dahana can achieve its targets and further synergize with the holding company.”

Mr Rasyidin also expressed gratitude to the previous members of the Board of Commissioners and Board of Directors for their contributions, specifically recognizing:
