President Director of PT DAHANA, Syaifuddin officially opened the 2024 Social and Environmental Responsibility (SER) Week which will last from 14-18 October 2024. The opening ceremony was held on the first day of TJSL Week, 14 October 2024, at Bale DAHANA, Subang, West Java, 2024.
In his remarks, Mr Syaifuddin said that the DAHANA SER Week is an annual activity that has been carried out for years by the Company to help advance the surrounding environment, especially the community in Subang Regency. In addition, SER Week is a space for collaboration between DAHANA and other communities and institutions to contribute to society.
Furthermore, SER Week, which is packed with some competitions for the younger generation, is expected to bring out local talents from Subang. Competition activities can also be a stimulus for young people in Subang to grow their confidence in their abilities and talents so that they dare to compete on a bigger stage at the provincial, national, and even international levels.
“Finally, we wish the participants good luck in the competitions. Show your best, winning and losing is a common thing. Later, if you win, don’t be complacent, if you haven’t won, be even more enthusiastic to achieve achievements,” said Mr Syaifuddin.
Meanwhile, the Head of DAHANA SER unit Eman Suherman reported that in 2024, the DAHANA SER Week will last for five days with various competitions, health programs, and social programs.
On the first day (14/11) the committee held a Jaipong Dance Art Creation Competition for junior high schools throughout Subang Regency which showcased the talents and creativity of students. On the second day (15/11), there is a Drawing, Art Creation & Tahfidz Competition with participation of Early School children throughout Subang Regency as an effort to facilitate the skills and creativity of early childhood children.
Then, on the third day (16/11) there is the DAHANA Singing Competition Batch II, namely the Singing Competition for Senior High Schools/Vocational High Schools throughout Subang Regency which is designed to showcase the talents and creativity of participants in the field of Vocals to find talented students. On the third day there is also a Storytelling Competition for Elementary Schools throughout Subang Regency.
Furthermore, on the fourth day (17/11), DAHANA holds a public health program with Stunting Counseling, Additional Feeding, Prolanis Gymnastics and Blood Donation. Finally, the committee also provided a Tabligh Akbar program with lively activities such as the Majelis Taklim Cheer Competition, Tausiyah, Al-Quran Reading & Orphanage Assistance.
In addition, as a form of support for the Subang disabled community, the DAHANA SER team has also purchased prosthetic leg packages to be handed over to people in need at the 2024 SER Week.
“The 2024 SER Week activities are DAHANA’s steps to get directly involved in advancement of the society. Hopefully this activity can run smoothly and be followed enthusiastically by participants. We have high hopes, especially in the competition for the younger generation so that later they can develop their talents to a higher level,” concluded Eman Suherman.
