PT DAHANA’s prospective recruited through the joint recruitment by the Ministry of SOEs through its Indonesian Human Capital Forum (FHCI) have started participating in the Company Introduction Orientation activities. This activity lasted for 5 days from 26 to 30 August 2024 at the PT DAHANA Campus, Subang, West Java.

Bayu Anggoro, VP of Human Capital Management representing PT DAHANA’s Board of Directors said that the Company Introduction Period activity is an effort to allow prospective employees to learn more about DAHANA, including its history, environment, company scope, core values, and DAHANA’s business lines.

“Welcome prospective employees to the DAHANA Campus and congratulations on participating in the Company Introduction Period activity. Hopefully this activity can be a good way for the prospective employees to learn more about DAHANA, and be enthusiastic about collaborating to develop and advance the company,” said Mr Anggoro.

During the Company Introduction Period, participants learned the history of DAHANA which was born from the womb of the Indonesian Air Force through the Menang Project. The name DAHANA itself comes from Sanskrit which means fire. It was once headquartered in Tasikmalaya City, and for security reasons and company expansion, DAHANA moved to Subang Regency.

In Subang, DAHANA established an explosives facility which is touted as the most complete explosives facility in Southeast Asia. Above the Energetic Material Center (EMC) area, DAHANA constructed factories, warehousing areas or Bonded Logistics Center, office areas, and multifunctional meeting halls.

Apart from that, participants also learned about DAHANA’s business lines which range from general mining, quarrying & construction, oil and gas to the military. As the mecca of Indonesian explosives, DAHANA offers Total Explosives Solutions services for consumers; these services consist of drilling & blasting, loading & hauling, handling, transportation, licensing, consulting, to the destruction of explosives.
