PT DAHANA has provided cleaning facilities in the form of organic and inorganic waste bin packages for the residents of Anggarsari Village, Subang. This initiative was implemented to commemorate World Earth Day 2025 in Subang Regency, with the theme “No More Trash in the Village Program and Mangrove Rehabilitation.” The event took place in Anggarsari Village, Sukasari District, Subang Regency, on April 22, 2025.

Usman, Chairperson of the Nusantara Indah Environmental Foundation, emphasized that the 2025 World Earth Day commemoration in Subang Regency aimed to raise public awareness about environmental sustainability. This event is a collaboration among the government, businesses, and the community.

“Happy World Earth Day! We wish that this initiative increases our awareness of the importance of environmental sustainability. We are already experiencing the effects of the climate crisis, from tidal floods to droughts. Let’s start caring for the environment now, beginning with the small actions we can take,” stated Usman.

DAHANA is dedicated to environmental sustainability, as demonstrated by its Central Management Office in Subang, which is awarded with a Green Building Level Platinum certificate. The company also utilizes waste oil as an alternative in the production of explosives and actively distributes environmental assistance.

PT DAHANA consistently participates in environmental protection efforts, such as those carried out in Anggarsari Village. Neni Sumarni, DAHANA’s Social and Environmental Responsibility (SER) Manager, noted that engaging in environmental activities is essential for ensuring a better quality of life for future generations.

On World Earth Day, Neni expressed her hope that more people will recognize the current climate crisis and take action starting at the village level, particularly by managing waste independently, which aligns with the theme “No more trash in the Village.”

“We would like to thank the committee for organizing this event. We hope this collaboration fosters a positive culture within the community, particularly regarding waste disposal and independent waste management for a better future,” Ms Sumarni concluded.
