PT DAHANA delivered aid for DAHANA Alumni who are members of the Dahana Retirement Union (SENADA). The aid was handed over by DAHANA’s Senior Manager of Legal & Corporate Communication Juli Jajuli during commemoration of Indonesian Independence Day which was held on August 24, 2024 in Tasikmalaya.

During the event, a DAHANA history book entitled The Dreams Come True was also handed over. Basic necessities were handed over through the Social and Environmental Responsibility (SER) unit, while shopping vouchers presented by the committee of DAHANA’s 58th anniversary.

In his remarks, Mr Jajuli said that the Alumni Gathering activity is something that is highly anticipated by DAHANA employees and alumni every year. At this meeting, employees can learn about the history of DAHANA’s progress from time to time.

“This event is very important to strengthen the relationship between the Company and the alumni. Alumni are the predecessors who have contributed greatly to the progress of the company. Through their innovative hands, DAHANA can progress allowing the Company to contribute a comfortable working environment for current generation in the Company,” said Mr Jajuli.

As a form of support for alumni, PT DAHANA through its SER unit has also prepared basic food packages for alumni according to their intended use. This aid is a form of the Company’s concern for those who have contributed to DAHANA during the Company’s development period.

Apart from the staple food, the committee of DAHANA’s 58th anniversary also gave shopping vouchers for PT DAHANA alumni in Tasikmalaya. The committee considered that DAHANA as a Company that will never forget the city of Tasikmalaya which has witnessed the Company’s growth.

Meanwhile, the Chairperson of Senada Leliso Dahlia expressed her gratitude and emotion for the concern given by DAHANA. She stated that PT DAHANA is one of the companies that has a very close sense of family, not only when the alumni became employees, but also when they are in retirement.

“We, representing all DAHANA alumni in Tasikmalaya, express our deepest gratitude to the Company. DAHANA’s presence in Tasikmalaya today is a cure for our longing for the Company while recalling the past struggles. Thank you also for DAHANA’s support for similar activities. Hopefully DAHANA will continue to advance and develop,” said Mrs Dahlia.

Apart from providing of books and aids, the Alumni Gathering also enjoyed the August Independence Day games and meal together with employees and alumni.
