PT DAHANA held a ceremony to commemorate the 79th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia (RI). The event which was led by PT DAHANA President Director Syaifuddin, was attended by employees of the Subang and Jakarta offices, students from Subang University, students from Cibogo Vocational High School, and Volunteers of Bakti BUMN Batch VI – Subang, at the DAHANA Football Field, Subang, West Java, on August 17, 2024.
Mr Syaifuddin said that the commemoration of the 79th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia this year was very special, because it coincided with the implementation of Volunteers of Bakti BUMN Batch VI where Subang was the host and along with students from Subang University who carried out field study and community service in Sadawarna Village. He hoped that collaboration and cooperation from all elements can realize the Nusantara Baru and Indonesia Maju.
“This year’s ceremony is very special, Volunteers of Bakti BUMN Batch VI – Subang became the ceremony officers. We also have young people of University of Subang students who are conducting field study and community service, and students from SMKN Cibogo. Seeing the faces of the attending young generation, we are optimistic that we will achieve the Nusantara Baru Indonesia Maju,” said mr Syaifuddin.
In line with the theme of the 79th Anniversary of Indonesian Independence “Nusantara Baru Indonesia Maju”, DAHANA wishes to take part in realizing Indonesia Maju through innovations in the energetic material industry. Currently, as a member of DEFEND ID, DAHANA is a company that has the most complete explosives facilities in the ASEAN region, and plays an important role in the explosives supply chain in the region.
Mr Syaifuddin hoped that the 79th Anniversary of Indonesian Independence ceremony can increase the sense of belonging to Indonesia, avoid all forms of division, and collaborate with each other to realize Indonesia Maju. He believed that with the guidance of the core values AKHLAK and a sense of nationalism, DAHANA can grow bigger and contribute more to the republic.

For the ceremony, participants from DAHANA employees were wearing traditional clothes that reflected the diversity of Indonesian culture. After the ceremony, DAHANA also held a people’s party filled with an MSME bazaar and various competitions for the 79th Anniversary of Indonesian Independence.
