PT DAHANA held a ceremony to commemorate Youth Pledge Day with the theme “Advancing Together with Great Indonesia.” The event was led by Ahyanizzaman, the Director of Finance, Risk Management, and HR, and took place at the PT DAHANA Football Field in Subang on Monday, October 28, 2024. All employees of DAHANA’s Head Office attended the ceremony.
During his remarks, Mr Ahyanizzaman read the address from the Minister of Sports and Youth, Ario Bimo Nandito Ariotedjo, who reflected on the historical significance of the Youth Pledge, emphasizing how Indonesian youth expressed their determination to unite within the framework of diversity to uplift the nation.
“The noble values displayed by the youth of the 1928 Pledge must be continually echoed to strengthen the awareness and character of the Indonesian nation. This is crucial as we navigate rapid changes that could undermine our national strength and sustainability,” stated Mr Ahyanizzaman.
This year’s Pledge Day commemoration carries the theme “Maju Bersama Indonesia Raya,” which conveys a message about enhancing various aspects of youth services to contribute to a great, prosperous Indonesia.
Mr Ahyanizzaman highlighted that DAHANA is committed to strengthening the capabilities of the younger generation in the explosives industry through their active involvement in the company’s strategic initiatives.
In alignment with youth development and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), DAHANA, as a socially responsible company, engages Subang youth in capacity-building programs run by its Social and Environmental Responsibility (SER) initiatives.
“The theme of this year’s Youth Pledge aligns with our core values of AKHLAK. We are dedicated to collaborating with all stakeholders to realize a better, more advanced, and greater Indonesia. Once again, happy 96th Indonesian Youth Pledge Day,” concluded Mr Ahyanizzaman.
