BUMN Bakti Volunteers Batch VI – Subang visited PT DAHANA. The 10 young generations of State-owned Enterprises (SOEs) were warmly welcomed by SM Legal and Corporate Communications of PT DAHANA Juli Jajuli, and Commercial Director of PT PINDAD Atih Nurhayati at the DAHANA Campus, Subang, West Java, on Friday, August 16, 2024.
In his remarks, Mr Juli introduced a brief history of PT DAHANA which originated from the Menang Project, an initiative of the Indonesian Air Force. Previously operating in Tasikmalaya, for security reasons and expansion of the company’s production, PT DAHANA moved to Subang and occupied an area of 600 hectares.
“In Subang, we built the Energetic Material Center, as an integrated area consisting of the most complete research, development and production center for high-energy materials in Southeast Asia. Owing to these complete facilities, PT DAHANA is able to grow rapidly both domestically and abroad,” said Mr Jajuli.
As the Indonesian explosives mecca, PT DAHANA offers products and services related to explosives in various sectors, such as general mining, underground mining, quarries & construction, oil and gas, to military explosives.
One of DAHANA’s advantages is the Total Explosive Solutions offer, which is a comprehensive blasting service starting from explosives supplier, handling, distribution, loading & hauling, drilling & blasting, warehousing, licensing, on-site factory establishment, to the destruction of unused explosives.
One of the BUMN Bakti Volunteers Tamadestya Bayu Norahpradita from PT KAI said that he was very proud that Indonesia actually has an independent explosives industry and is able to compete in the global market. He hoped that DAHANA and DEFEND ID can advance further to make sure the ideals of national defense equipment independence can be realized.
Meanwhile, Novia Kumala Sari from PT Bank Tabungan Negara expressed her admiration for PT DAHANA, which is one of the pioneers in building offices with a green concept. She said that the green commitment very important for every company in order to bequeath the earth to future generations.
“I just found out that DAHANA is one of the institutions that pioneered the development with the green building concept in Indonesia. Their buildings are also unique, beautiful and green. In addition, security here is also tight with layered checks that allow a sense of added security and comfort to visitors. Hopefully DAHANA will continue to advance and develop,” concluded Miss Sari.
