SUBANG – Participants of Blasting Course of Human Resource Development Center Geology, Mineral and Coal Human Resources Development Center of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of the Republic of Indonesia conducted a Field Work Practice at PT DAHANA. The field visit was made at the Dahana Campus which is located at the DAHANA High Energy Materials Center Area in Subang on Monday, 13 March 2023.
In his remarks, DAHANA’s Senior Manager Legal and Corporate Communication, Juli Jajuli told the participants the history of DAHANA and the move of the Indonesian Explosives Qibla company from Tasikmalaya to Subang. Now, in Subang, DAHANA is in possession of more than 500 hectares of land which is used for nurseries, factories, warehouses, and offices.
“The DAHANA campus is a place for blasting experts in Indonesia to study. The Central High Energy Materials Area is the place for research, development and production of integrated explosives in Indonesia,” said Mr Jajuli.
Mr Jajuli added that PT DAHANA’s High Energy Material Center area serves as the producer of explosives with the most complete facilities in the Southeast Asian region. The products manufactured in the center are also very diverse and can be adapted to the needs of various and complex blasting fields.
As the Qibla of Indonesian Explosives, DAHANA also always tries to deliver superior performance to consumers with Total Explosives Solution services. In mining for example, DAHANA offers On Site Plant (OSP) and Mobile Manufacturing Truck (MMT) services which are capable of facilitating consumers in the production of explosives, so as to minimize the cost of blasting.
After the welcoming speech from Mr Jajuli, the participants then received a presentation from Irfana Ismail, DAHANA’s Detonator Production Manager, and had the opportunity to tour the EMC plant area. In this First Batch of Education and Training, DAHANA also sent two employees as participants, namely Arif Dwi Satya and Fadlan.
