As part of the events commemorating its 60th anniversary, PT DAHANA (Persero) planted and distributed 6,000 tree seedlings during a West Java provincial-level greening initiative at the Ranggawulung Urban Forest in Subang on Friday, September 18, 2026. This activity exemplifies DAHANA’s collaboration with the government and community groups in preserving the environment.
In his remarks, the President Director of PT DAHANA (Persero), Hary Irmawan, stated that this greening initiative is part of the company’s effort to make a tangible contribution to environmental sustainability, particularly in Subang Regency, which serves as DAHANA’s home.
“Tree planting is not merely a one-day activity; it is an environmental investment for the future. Through collaboration with the government, community groups, and various stakeholders, we hope the planted seedlings will grow and provide sustainable ecological and social benefits,” said Hary.
The event also featured the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between DAHANA, the West Java Provincial Forestry Agency, and the Tunas Rangga Wulung Forest Farmers Group, aimed at strengthening synergy in greening efforts and environmental management.
On this occasion, DAHANA handed over 6,000 tree seedlings to the West Java Provincial Forestry Agency, the Forestry Agency Branch Region II, the Subang Regency Environmental Agency, and the Forest Farmers Group. This distribution is expected to support greening efforts while expanding environmental benefits across various regions.
The Head of the West Java Provincial Forestry Agency, Dodit Ardian Pancapana, commended DAHANA’s involvement in supporting greening initiatives in West Java. Such collaboration among the government, the business sector, and the community is expected to strengthen collective efforts to preserve green areas and ensure environmental sustainability.
The event concluded with a joint tree-planting session in the Ranggawulung Urban Forest area. Also in attendance were DAHANA’s Echelon I officials and the “Sekar Arum” employee association; the Head of the West Java Provincial Forestry Agency, Dodit Ardian Pancapana; the Head of the Territorial Division at R. Suryadi Suryadarma Air Force Base, Colonel (Pom) Eko Mujiono; the Head of Intelligence, Lt. Col. (Sus) Dwi Abrianto; the Head of the Forestry Agency Branch for Region II, Dedi Sudadi; the Head of the Subang Regency Environmental Agency, Andri Mulya Priatna; and the Chairman of the Tunas Rangga Bakti Forest Farmers Group (KTH), Toni Supriadi, along with his team.
Through its Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program, DAHANA continues to foster collaboration with various stakeholders to deliver sustainable benefits to the community and the environment.
