In his speech, Mr Heru, who is also an alumnus of the university said that the explosives facilities at DAHANA are the most complete in the Southeast Asia region.
“Welcome UPN lecturers and students at the DAHANA Central Management Office or which is commonly known as the DAHANA Campus. In accordance with its philosophy, the DAHANA Campus is often the choice of scholars, explosives experts, or other students to broaden their knowledge about explosives,” said Mr Heru.
Mr Heru also described the short history of DAHANA, which was born from the Republic of Indonesia Air Force’s “Menang” project, and through various dynamics, DAHANA has now become the Mecca of Indonesian Explosives, with various facilities housed in the Energetic Material Center (EMC) area in Subang.
In the mining world, the name DAHANA is something that is considered to be a producer of sophisticated explosives with the latest technology, and complete service provider or known as Total Explosive Solutions. DAHANA’s human resources enjoy the engagement of skilled, experienced people who are guided by AKHLAK which is a special value for mining entrepreneurs in the country.
In addition to general mining, both open pit and underground, DAHANA also operates in the quarry & construction, oil and gas and military sectors. DAHANA’s services consist of provision of explosives, blasting services, loading & hauling, consulting, warehousing, transportation, licensing, and destruction of explosives.
To date, DAHANA’s services have spread to various regions in the Republic of Indonesia, and the Company’s products are regularly exported to the Asia Pacific region. DAHANA’s excellence in the mining world include product variations that can be adapted to conditions and needs in the field, so that blasting can be carried out effectively while minimizing blasting costs.
