PT Dahana reaffirms its commitment to sharing benefits by distributing sacrificial animals to communities near its operational areas, project sites, and the extended family of company alumni. This initiative was carried out in phases from May 25–27, 2026, in celebration of Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijri.
This year, PT Dahana distributed 27 sacrificial animals, consisting of 6 cows and 21 goats/sheep, to the regions of Subang, Tasikmalaya, Balikpapan, and several of the company’s project sites, including locations where it collaborates with partners. In Subang, the distribution was carried out through the PT Dahana Mosque Prosperity Council (MKM) in collaboration with As Syifa Peduli. This program was made possible through PT Dahana’s partnership with BSI and As Syifa Peduli, ensuring the distribution reached a greater number of beneficiaries in a targeted manner.
In addition to the local community, the sacrificial meat was also distributed to various social and religious institutions, such as the Al Muzaki Foundation, Darul Hijrah Orphanage, We Care Orphanage, Al-Hikam Musalafiah Islamic Boarding School, Nurul Iman Foundation, and the Subang Regency Chapter of the Indonesian Association of the Blind (Pertuni). Overall, the distribution in the Subang region reached approximately 1,100 beneficiaries.
As part of its commitment to sustainability, PT Dahana uses eco-friendly bamboo baskets for the distribution of sacrificial meat. This initiative both highlights local wisdom and reduces plastic use.
Mohamad Nur Sodiq, Director of Finance, Risk Management, and Human Resources at PT Dahana and Advisor to the Dahana Mosque Prosperity Council (MKM), stated that the sacrificial offering activity is an expression of the company’s gratitude and a means to strengthen ties with the community.
“The Festival of Sacrifice teaches sincerity, compassion, and the spirit of sharing. Through this Qurbani program, PT Dahana aims to provide tangible benefits to the community and strengthen social bonds, while bringing blessings to all parties,” said Sodiq.
Meanwhile, Soffia Mustikasari, Manager of Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) at PT Dahana, explained that this year’s Qurbani program focuses not only on social aspects but also on environmental considerations.
“We strive to create a Qurbani program that delivers comprehensive positive impacts. In addition to ensuring the distribution of Qurbani meat reaches those in need, this year we’ve also reduced plastic use by utilizing bamboo-woven containers. Our collaboration with BSI and As Syifa Peduli is also a crucial step toward expanding the benefits and enhancing the effectiveness of distribution,” explained Soffia.
Through this initiative, PT Dahana is committed to strengthening harmonious relations with the community, supporting social welfare, and implementing programs that align with the company’s values of sustainability and social responsibility. As a national high-energy materials company, PT Dahana is committed to continuing to grow alongside the community and making the best possible contribution to the nation through various social programs that have a positive impact.
