PT DAHANA performed an Anti-Bribery Management System (SMAP) Recertification Audit in order to ensure implementation in all departments and as part of the DAHANA SMAP recertification process. The audit was done in collaboration with PT Sucofindo face to face and virtually (via zoom meeting) from January 31 – to February 2, 2024.

In his speech at the closing of the audit session, the Head of DAHANA’s Anti-Bribery Compliance Function (FKAP), Ahmad Fachruddin, said that DAHANA’s SMAP audit is proof of the Company’s commitment to implementation of Good Corporate Governance and support for fighting the culture of corruption at all levels. This is also the implementation of Presidential Regulation Number 54 of 2018 concerning the National Strategy for Preventing Corruption.

“As the mecca for Indonesian explosives, DAHANA has a high commitment to running a company that is healthy and free from bribery practices. Apart from fulfilling the regulations set by the regulator, DAHANA views that a company that is free of bribes is healthy, advanced and developing company,” said Mr Fachruddin at the Dahana Subang Campus (02/02).

DAHANA’s SMAP Certificate expired in October 2023, therefore, the company considered it important to immediately recertify the ISO 37001:2016 to gain easier related implementation. This is to encourage prevention and minimize corruption related problems to make sure such problems can be reduced or even eliminated.

“We have made various preparations for the SMAP audit this time, such as holding an internal audit on 5-6 October. It is our hope that the SMAP recertification will not only be seen as a matter of fulfilling regulations, but also an attempt to shape a culture that is free from corruption which is firmly adhered to by all DAHANA employees wherever they work,” concluded Mr Fachruddin.

Prior to the SMAP Audit, DAHANA’s FKAP had conducted various recertification preparations such as the issuance of an FKAP Order Letter, Initial FKAP Meeting, SMAP In-house Training, SMAP Audit Kick Off Meeting, as well as other various preparations required by Sucofindo with regards to SMAP audit.
