Subang, July 10, 2025 — In an effort to raise awareness about women’s health, particularly the risk of breast cancer, PT DAHANA, in collaboration with the Cibogo Community Health Center (Puskesmas), organized a health seminar and free check-ups for all female employees at the Subang Office.
The event took place at the Bale DAHANA West Building and included an educational seminar on early breast cancer detection using the Breast Self-Examination (BSE) method. Professional health workers from the Cibogo Community Health Center conducted initial breast cancer risk screenings.
Midwife Holisoh, S.ST., served as the main speaker, emphasizing the importance of women taking charge of their own health by understanding their bodies and practicing routine self-examinations. In her presentation, Ms Holisoh explained the steps for performing a breast self-examination (BSE), outlined early signs to watch for, and stressed the significance of regular medical consultations.
“A simple routine examination can be a vital step in saving lives. BSE is an act of love that women can show toward their own bodies,” Ms Holisoh stated to seminar participants.
After the educational session, female employees had the opportunity to undergo free health check-ups and initial breast cancer screenings. These examinations aim to facilitate early detection of conditions that could develop into serious illnesses if left untreated.
This initiative is part of PT DAHANA’s Social and Environmental Responsibility (SER) program, which is dedicated to supporting the well-being and health of its employees, especially women. Through a focus on prevention and education, the company aims to empower all female employees to be more aware of breast cancer risks and to adopt a healthy lifestyle.
Participant enthusiasm was high from the morning, with many female employees actively engaging in both the seminar and the examinations. This event not only provided an educational opportunity but also illustrated the company’s commitment to health as a key asset in both personal and professional life.
PT DAHANA hopes to continue conducting similar activities sustainably as part of a collective effort to create a healthy, supportive, and empowering work environment.
