PT Dahana has demonstrated its commitment to enhancing health awareness among the younger generation through an HIV and TB socialization activity held at Cibogo’s Riyadhul Jannah Vocational School in Subang Regency on Wednesday, February 5. Around 200 students were involved in this activity.
The socialization was part of PT Dahana’s initiative to cultivate a thorough understanding of health, particularly concerning the prevention and management of HIV and Tuberculosis (TB) from an early age. This effort coincided with the commemoration of National Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Month 2026.
The activity was attended by PT Dahana’s OSH Manager, Safira Aulia Rinanda, along with the OSH team. In her remarks, Ms Rinanda emphasized that health education is a crucial foundation for developing a sustainable OSH culture.
“Safety and health don’t just apply to the workplace; they must also be understood from an early age. Through this outreach, we hope students will gain a proper understanding of HIV and TB and be able to implement healthy lifestyles in their daily lives,” said Ms Rinanda
Special remarks were delivered by the Principal of Riyadhul Jannah School, Mr. Nana Sumarna, S.Pd.I, S.H, M.M.Pd., who expressed his appreciation for the collaboration between PT Dahana, the Subang Regency Health Office, and the Cibogo Community Health Center in providing health education to students.
The outreach material was presented by two speakers from the Subang Regency Health Office: Dr. Indiati Oetama, Head of the Disease Prevention and Control Division, and Suwata, SKM, HIV/AIDS Program Manager. They covered topics such as transmission methods, prevention, the importance of early detection, and appropriate treatment.
Through this activity, PT Dahana aims to actively contribute to creating a healthy, risk-aware, and informed young generation regarding health issues, as part of strengthening a comprehensive occupational health and safety culture.
