PT Dahana welcomed a courtesy visit from the Indonesian Air Force’s (TNI AU) Rapid Response Force Corps (Korpasgat). This significant visit took place on Friday, November 28, 2025, at the PT Dahana Headquarters in Subang, West Java, where Air Vice-Marshal Anis Nurwahyudi, the Chief of Staff of Korpasgat, was warmly received by Dahana’s President Director, Hary Irmawan.

In his address, Mr Irmawan expressed his sincere appreciation for the Korpasgat leadership’s initiative to personally inspect Dahana’s explosives production facilities. He highlighted the company’s commitment to supporting the independence of the nation’s main weapon systems through continuous innovation.

“As members of DEFEND ID, we believe this visit will enhance our understanding of the Corps’ needs and strengthen our cooperative relationship. We hope this opportunity will foster knowledge sharing and experience exchange between the  Korpasgat and PT Dahana,” stated Mr Irmawan.

The relationship between PT Dahana and the Indonesian Air Force has deep historical roots, dating back to the establishment of PT Dahana, which is closely linked to the Indonesian Air Force’s (AURI) “Menang Project.”

Additionally, PT Dahana has supplied various military explosives to the Indonesian Air Force, such as the P-Series bombs used to equip Sukhoi fighter jets. The company is currently developing the BNT 250 bomb, intended for NATO-standard fighter jets.

Mr Irmawan also noted that Dahana has been designated as a supporting component of national defense. With its integrated Energetic Material Center (EMC) facility in Subang, he affirmed that Dahana is fully prepared to meet national defense requirements, particularly in providing high-quality energetic materials, which is the company’s specialty.

Air Vice-Marshal Nurwahyudi expressed gratitude for the warm welcome from PT Dahana. He emphasized the importance of domestic industrial independence and highlighted that effective communication between producers and users is essential to ensure that the products meet the challenges faced by soldiers in the field.

“Dahana’s facilities provide an excellent illustration of the company’s capabilities in supporting defense needs. We hope that the communication and exploration initiated today will lead to positive developments,” he concluded.
