Inaya Khaira Lubna from SDN (elementary school) Rosela Indah Subang successfully became Winner of Storytelling Competition at DAHANA SER Week 2024. Head of DAHANA SER unit Eman Suherman personally presented the prize to Inaya at Bale DAHANA, Subang, West Java, on Wednesday, October 16, 2024.
Head of Tatali Wargi DAHANA, Arum Manggarsari, who is also the wife of President Director said that PT DAHANA really cares about the growth and development of children around the Company, especially in Subang Regency. The storytelling competition program is one form of DAHANA’s support to help children get the ability to develop imagination, creativity, and self-confidence.
“This storytelling competition offers many benefits as it serves to train children’s speaking skills, increase self-confidence, build empathy, improve language skills, and enrich national culture. Congratulations to the winners, hopefully they can become the generation of Golden Indonesia 2045,” said Mrs Manggarsari.
Furthermore, Mr Suherman said that the DAHANA SER Week Storytelling Competition Program is a form of support for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in education pillar in hoping that participants can grow and develop well, and become people who have the confidence to appear in large forums.
In the 2024 DAHANA SER Week storytelling competition, there were 34 participants from various elementary schools in Subang Regency. The participants turned out to be very creative and enthusiastic while participating in the competition. Some brought national fairy tales and local Sundanese and Subang fairy tales.
The judges from the Subang Regency Educators decided on six champions who achieved highest points, namely Inaya Khaira Lubna from SDN Rosela Indah as Champion 1, followed by Jessica Claudia from SDN Soklat as Champion 2, Aysel Melodi Shirly from SDN Ciheuleut as Champion 3. In addition, Nacita Aprilla Zahra from SDN Rawalele was Runner-up, Alifa Zahran Fauzi from SD PIT Bhaskara was Runner-up 2, and, finally, Komedina Radish from SDN Sompi as Runner-up 3.
“Congratulations to the winners, hopefully the experience in this storytelling competition at DAHANA can bring benefits and become one of the provisions for life later. Those who didn’t win should not be discouraged. Stay enthusiastic to continue practicing and to become a better person in any field of interest,” concluded Mr Suherman.
