PT DAHANA gave an In-house Training (IHT) to sharpen knowledge about superior explosives owned by DAHANA. This training was supervised by the SM Marketing and Operations of the Quarry Sector, Quarry Construction Division, Ryan Noverie Pasoreh, at the DAHANA Campus, Subang, West Java, on Thursday, September 5, 2024.
In his remarks, Mr Pasoreh introduced a brief history of DAHANA from its birth from the womb of the Indonesian Air Force’s Menang Project, that the Company was originally headquartered in Tasikmalaya but for reasons of expanding production facilities and the safety of the surrounding community, DAHANA moved its office to Subang Regency.
“Welcome PT Semen Padang fellows to the DAHANA Campus. This Campus stands for the Central Management Office, but philosophically has the same breath as the campus as a place to study, research, and develop explosives in Indonesia,” said Mr Pasoreh.
As the mecca of Indonesian explosives, DAHANA has established various explosive facilities in the Energetic Material Center (EMC) Subang area. DAHANA engineers also continue to create superior explosive products and services for consumers, such as Dabex, Dayagel, Dawagel, Dayadet, related accessories, and many other superior explosive products.
Apart from that, DAHANA has explosive factory facilities that can be established at the consumer’s project site such as On Site Plant (OSP) and Mobile Manufacturing Truck (MMT). The existence of this on-site explosive factory provides benefits to consumers in the form of savings in distribution and production costs for explosives.
Mr Pasoreh also said that PT Semen Padang is an old friend of DAHANA. The company that has the most complete explosives facilities in ASEAN has served Semen Padang in Down the Hole Service, Blasting Service, and is now trusted to work on Drilling & Blasting Service.
“We also thank PT Semen Padang, which continues to increase its contract from Down the Hole, and is now trusted to get the Drilling & Blasting Service contract. Hopefully this collaborative work can bring benefits to all parties, collaborating to build the country,” concluded Mr Pasoreh.
Meanwhile, Gista Hendrio Pusaka, Supervisor of Loading & Hauling of PT Semen Padang also welcomed the IHT activity. He said that DAHANA has extensive and superior products and services owned. He also hoped that the cooperation between the two companies can be sustainably developed.
