Dahana held its 2026 Townhall Meeting. The event, which featured a leading academic and business practitioner Prof. Rhenald Kasali, took place at the Dahana Auditorium in Subang, West Java, on Thursday, January 8, 2025.
In his remarks, Dahana’s President Director, Hary Irmawan, stated that the Townhall Meeting’s agenda icncluded aligning Dahana’s 2026 Work Plan and Budget (RKAP), presenting the company’s performance, launching 10 priority programs, and signing Key Performance Indicators (KPI) as a shared commitment.
“The 2026 Work Plan and Budget serves as an important foundation for Dahana to continue growing through sustainable transformation, performance improvement, and strengthened collaboration. All Dahana employees have a strategic role in realizing growth which is not only rapid but also provides long-term value for the Company and the Indonesian nation,” said Mr Irmawan.
The Townhall Meeting aims to ensure alignment of vision, strategy, and work steps across all company elements in facing future business challenges, while also supporting the acceleration of sustainable growth in line with the theme of the 2026 Work Plan and Budget’
Professor Kasali emphasized in his presentation that the current business landscape is no longer linear, thus requiring a completely new approach and way of thinking in business improvement. He highlighted that business improvement can no longer be achieved if it depends merely on conventional methods.
Professor Kasali said that Dahana requires great courage to take strategic leaps to survive and thrive. Strengthening leadership is crucial in aligning strategy and preparing the organization. Furthermore, Dahana employees must shift their mindset from being “passengers” to “drivers” to propel the Company forward.
Meanwhile, Dahana’s Commissioner Wildan Widarman reiterated that innovation is the lifeblood of this Indonesian explosives company. He hoped Dahana’s young talent can continue the innovative tradition that has led Dahana to its current growth.
“Dahana is one of the companies that has grown very rapidly over the past decade and a half. This is possible because our predecessors were very innovative, owned numerous copyrights, and ultimately led Dahana to progress. Hopefully, this spirit can be carried forward by Dahana employees, especially the younger generation who will support the company’s future,” said Mr Widarman.
