As a company engaged in the explosives industry, PT Dahana (Persero) is exposed to unfavorable threats such as fire, explosion, spill of hazardous substances, riots and sabotage that can take place anytime and anywhere.
To deal with such potential dangerous threats, of course, every and each available resource is expected to serve as alert to cope with any occurrence of emergency.
In order to anticipate these potential hazards, the Human Resources & Organizational Management section held a two-day Emergency Response Plan (ERP) training from 27 to 28 August 2019 at the DAHANA Subang Campus Education and Training building. A total of 22 participants consisting of DAHANA office, production and site project employee representatives participated in the ERP training.
Ayudia Sasmaya Nazwar, representing ERP training organizing committee, explained that the purpose of this ERP training was to increase awareness on the importance of alertness in dealing with emergencies that could occur anytime and anywhere. Apart from that, the training served as coordination of efforts of Emergency Response Planning/ERP (Emergency Response Plan) to achieve more efficiency and effective control.
“Hopefully, after attending this ERP training, participants will be able to fully comprehend various matters related to ERP (Emergency Response Plan). It is a system that is required and applied in the event of emergency to make sure control can be done quickly and precisely and ensure that control measures are in accordance with the procedure, “said Ayudia.
One of the trainees, Agung Handriyana shared his experience after attending the ERP training this time. “As a representative of the training participants from the DAHANA security team, I am grateful to be given the opportunity to take part in the ERP training program. Hopefully I can benefit from the knowledge and experience that I have gained during the training. I am sure it will be useful in my daily work as a member of Dahana security team,” he said.
