On Tuesday, August 12, 2025, PT Dahana’s President Director, Hary Irmawan, accompanied by Corporate Secretary Erwin Cipta and other management members, visited Alam Sari SerbaNanas in Subang, West Java. This micro, small, and medium-sized enterprise (MSME) partner, supported by PT Dahana, specializes in producing various pineapple products, including chips, jams, syrups, dodol (a traditional sweet), and fermented beverages.
This visit is part of PT Dahana’s Social and Environmental Responsibility (SER) program, which aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), Goal 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), and Goal 17 (Partnerships for The Goals).
“The company is deeply committed to advancing the surrounding community, including the development of MSMEs. We aim for PT Dahana’s fostered partners, such as Alam Sari Subang, to excel not only in the local market but also to be prepared for national and global expansion,” said Mr Irmawan.
Subang is one of Indonesia’s largest pineapple production centers, with an annual output of approximately 38,000 tons. Alam Sari Subang capitalizes on this potential by processing around 2 tons of pineapples each month into various value-added products, employing local workers, and marketing its products across various cities in Indonesia.
During the visit, Mr Irmawan observed the entire pineapple production process, from receiving the fruit and peeling it to processing it into different products and modern packaging. He also assessed the performance of the Si Badai Stove used in the production process at Alam Sari.
Ade Patas, the owner of Alam Sari Subang, noted that Dahana’s support has been crucial for his business’s development. He expressed honor in receiving a visit from PT Dahana’s President Director and remarked that the visit boosted the motivation of the MSMEs he manages to meet the expectations of PT Dahana’s leadership.
“Thanks to PT Dahana’s assistance, training, and promotion, we have been able to add product variants, increase production capacity, and expand our market reach. We are optimistic about entering the export market. Thank you, PT Dahana, for our meaningful collaboration over the past few years,” he stated.
In addition to visiting Alam Sari, Mr Irmawan and his team also visited the Urban Agro Saung Kopi Dahana business, managed by the Forest Farmers Group led by Sarip Durahman. During this visit, the President Director and his entourage engaged in discussions about the coffee industry, which has seen significant growth in recent years.
“At Urban Agro, PT Dahana not only provides financial support but also offers coffee farming land, space for a coffee shop and roastery, and assistance in boosting our sales. We appreciate PT Dahana’s deep concern for the local economy. May PT Dahana continue to grow and bring blessings to the people of Subang,” Mr Durahman remarked.
