PT Dahana, along with member companies of the Defense Industry Holding DEFEND ID, held an educational program titled “DEFEND ID Teaching” at Danumaya Elementary School in Sadawarna Village, Cibogo District, Subang Regency, on Friday, July 18, 2025. The program aimed to foster a passion for learning and instil national values in students from an early age by means of interactive and enjoyable activities.
Volunteer teachers from PT Dahana, including Dinda Husnaini, Muhamad Risky Ceaser, Aulia Syifa Aninditha, and Dwi Arimbi Wardaningrum, were present to deliver the lessons. They engaged the children in dialogue, storytelling, and playful learning, introducing simple concepts about the importance of national spirit.
Using this communicative and enjoyable approach, the teachers successfully created a cheerful and enthusiastic learning environment. The children actively asked questions and participated in every session.
“We want the children to be confident and believe that they can contribute to this nation. We are also very happy to see their enthusiasm and joy while participating in this activity. Hopefully, they will grow into successful future leaders of the nation and always cherish Indonesia,” stated the volunteer teaching team.
One of the teachers, Dwi Arimbi Wardaningrum, expressed her joy in being able to interact directly with the students of Danumaya Elementary School, which is located near PT Dahana’s operational area.
“We deliver the material in a fun way so that the students are able to grasp the message we convey in an easy way,” said Miss Wardaningrum.
This activity is part of DEFEND ID and PT Dahana’s commitment to improving the quality of education in the surrounding area and building strong relationships with the community through their Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program. By providing inspiration from an early age, PT Dahana hoped to broaden the horizons of Subang children’s dreams and enable them to achieve a bright future.
