DEFEND ID organized Opening of Volunteer of BUMN Bakti Batch VI-Subang. The event which was attended by representatives of the Ministry of State-owned Enterprises (SOEs), PT Len Industri (Persero), PT DAHANA, PT PINDAD, the local government, and participants; was held in Cibeusi Tourism Village, Subang, West Java, on Thursday, August 15, 2024.
Putra Akbar Pangestu, Executive Staff of the Deputy for Human Resources, Technology, and Information of the Ministry of SOEs, in his remarks expressed his appreciation to DEFEND ID and the selected BUMN Bakti Volunteers. He emphasized that this event is an implementation of the AKHLAK core values initiated by the Minister of SOEs, Erick Thohir.
“Dear fellow volunteers, grab the spirit of collaboration, not only within the company, not only in the office, but also by contributing to Indonesia in the future. We hope that this can be a moment to learn. This good opportunity can be benefitted as not everyone has the opportunity,” said Mr Pangestu.
Meanwhile, Faisol Nasrul, CSR GM of PT LEN Industri (Persero), reported that the BUMN Bakti Volunteers program was implemented simultaneously in 10 cities in Indonesia, one of which was in Subang which was the result of Corporate Social Responsibility or Social and Environmental Responsibility collaboration from LEN, PINDAD, and DAHANA.
“The BUMN Bakti Volunteer Batch VI will implement programs focused on three areas, namely education, environment, and MSME development. We have a lot of activities. We hope that this event can run smoothly. Please pray that it can also bring benefits to the company, to volunteers, and to the nation and state,” said Mr Nasrul.
Furthermore, Bayu Anggoro, DAHANA’s Acting Corporate Secretary said that the activities are commitment of DEFEND ID in providing opportunities for SOEs employees to learn about society, develop themselves, and improve their social insight by socializing winsight ith residents in Cibeuse village.
“Let’s make this activity a momentum to continue to contribute to the country, and realize the spirit of the 79th Indonesian independence for the New Archipelago Advanced Indonesia,” concluded Mr Anggoro.
