Harry Ratianto, the Operational Officer (PJO) at Dahana’s Indexim Coalindo Site, received a certificate of appreciation from the Mining Safety Committee (KKP) for the year 2025, awarded by PT Indexim Coalindo. The presentation took place in Kaliorang, East Kutai, on Thursday, January 15, 2026.
Abdul Haris Atbaro, Dahana’s Operations Director, emphasized that Occupational Safety and Health (OHS) is a fundamental aspect of all Dahana operations. He praised the PJO and the entire Dahana team at the Indexim Coalindo project site for their disciplined adherence to the established OHS systems.
“I want to thank our colleagues at the Indexim Coalindo site for their hard work. I hope this recognition encourages us to maintain our commitment to the Mining Safety Management System and the implementation of OHS, rather than relaxing our efforts. We must continue to strengthen our discipline in this area,” stated Mr Atbaro.
As Indonesia’s leading explosives company, Dahana prioritizes occupational safety and health, which serves as core values instilled by management and reflected in the daily practices of all employees.
Teja Sukmara, the General Mining Manager at Dahana, commented that the achievements at the Indexim Coalindo site highlight the company’s dedication to safe mining practices.
“We commend your dedication, commitment, and consistency in supporting the implementation and enhancement of the Occupational Safety and Health (OHS) culture in the mining sector. This consistency is essential for achieving safe operations, and it should inspire and serve as a positive example for colleagues at other project sites,” said Mr Sukmara
In response, Harry Ratianto noted that the recognition he received was a result of the support from Dahana management and the hard work of the staff at the Indexim Coalindo site.
“I would like to express my gratitude to Dahana management for their support, including excellent systems and essential guidance in the field, as well as to our colleagues at the project site and Indexim Coalindo for their trust in us,” Mr Ratianto concluded.
