DAHANA has once again demonstrated its commitment to occupational safety by winning the “Zero LTI in 2024” award from PT Citra Palu Minerals. This award was presented during the National OHS (Occupational Health and Safety) Month activities held at PT Citra Palu Minerals in Central Sulawesi on February 26, 2025.

This recognition reflects DAHANA’s achievement of 63,050 safe working hours without a Lost Time Injury (LTI) throughout 2024. This success is largely attributed to the consistent implementation of the Mining Safety Management System for Minerals and Coal by the DAHANA team. Muhammad Aminuddin, the Operational Manager (PJO) of the DAHANA site at PT Citra Palu Minerals, received the award directly from Yan Adriansyah, the Representative of PT Citra Palu Minerals.

Abdul Haris Atbaro, the Director of Operations at PT DAHANA, emphasized that the award is a result of the discipline exhibited by employees on site and the support from management.

“We express our deepest gratitude to all DAHANA employees at the PT Citra Palu Minerals site. We hope this award enhances DAHANA’s reputation among consumers, both at PT Citra Palu Minerals and at other project sites,” said Mr Atbaro.

The implementation of the safety mining management for minerals and coal is a key focus for DAHANA in maintaining the security and safety of all workers. A variety of strategic measures are being taken, including routine training, safety inspections, and increasing employee awareness regarding the importance of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS).

DAHANA’s success in achieving a Zero LTI status demonstrates the effectiveness of its work safety system and reflects a work culture that prioritizes safety in all operational activities. Moving forward, DAHANA will continue to enhance its work safety programs to achieve even higher standards.

Mr Aminuddin stated that the award from PT Citra Palu Minerals further solidifies DAHANA’s position as a company dedicated to fostering a safe and productive work environment.

“Even though we have received this award, we remain committed to upholding discipline in implementing the Mining Safety Management System for minerals and coal, as well as adhering to the set of rules provided by management. We hope to further improve our OHS performance beyond our current LTI record,” concluded Mr Aminuddin.
