PT DAHANA has been awarded the Best Mining Services Company (MSC) award by PT Semen Padang during the 2024 Mineral and Coal Mining Safety Management event held on February 28, 2025, in West Sumatra.
Setio Budhianto, the General Manager of DAHANA’s Quarry & Construction Division, expressed his gratitude to DAHANA employees at the Semen Padang site. He noted that the performance of PT DAHANA employees at JsP Semen Padang demonstrates a high level of consistency, as evidenced by the consecutive awards received.
“On behalf of the management, I would like to congratulate our fellow DAHANA employees at JsP Semen Padang. I hope the commitment and consistency displayed by our colleagues inspire all DAHANA employees, no matter where they are assigned,” said Mr Budhianto.
Muhyidin Salim, the Operational Manager of PT DAHANA at the Semen Padang job site, received the award directly from Hendri Priparis, Head of Mining Engineering at PT Semen Padang. Salim expressed his gratitude for maintaining DAHANA’s achievements over the past few years.
“This award is one of many that DAHANA JsP Semen Padang has received. We want to thank DAHANA management for providing us with a solid system, the employees of JsP Semen Padang for their dedication, and our client PT Semen Padang for their trust in us,” Mr Salim stated.
The assessment results showed that DAHANA successfully implemented aspects of good mining practices within PT Semen Padang’s mining business permit area.
Mr Salim added that this recognition underscores the commitment of employees at the site to deliver excellent service while prioritizing Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) to achieve zero accidents.
Each day, prior to starting blasting activities, DAHANA employees at JsP Semen Padang hold a 5-Minute Meeting (P5M) to ensure safe operations. Additionally, the company equips its employees with an HSE application to facilitate reporting on K3LH to management.
“This award signifies DAHANA’s commitment to upholding its reputation as an Indonesian explosives company that prioritizes Occupational Health and Safety and adheres to good mining principles while delivering the best service to consumers.
