Dahana Supports Recovery of Disaster Victims through Employee Donations

PT Dahana has delivered donations from its employees to assist victims of the floods and landslides that occurred in Aceh, West Sumatra, and North Sumatra. The aid was distributed at the Islamic Boarding School Dayah YPI Ummul Ayman II on Saturday, January, 31^st.

Ismail Kurbani, Dahana’s Social and Environmental Responsibility (SER) Manager, personally handed over the aid to Tengku Busairi, a representative from the Dayah YPI Ummul Ayman II.

The donated items, collected from PT Dahana employees, included building materials, mosque carpets, Qurans, and school supplies. This assistance is intended to support the post-disaster recovery process and the continuity of educational and religious activities in the affected areas.

Additionally, PT Dahana collaborated with the Aceh Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Agency and PT Solusi Bangun Andalas (SBA) to revitalize two artesian wells, each 30 meters deep. This initiative was implemented in response to the urgent needs of communities affected by the disaster, particularly in providing clean water and proper sanitation.

Mr Kurbani emphasized that this activity reflects PT Dahana’s commitment to supporting the community during times of crisis.

“This donation represents the trust placed in us by PT Dahana employees who wish to help alleviate the burdens of our brothers and sisters affected by the disaster. We hope this assistance will bring benefits and encouragement during the recovery process,” Ismail stated.

Tengku Busairi expressed his appreciation and gratitude to PT Dahana and all the employees who contributed.

“This assistance is of great significance to us and the beneficiaries. We thank all PT Dahana employees for their concern and sincerity in helping disaster victims. May this kindness be rewarded with blessings and provide widespread benefits,” he remarked.
