PT DAHANA’s Social and Environmental Responsibility (SER) Unit supplied fast breaking snack packages (takjil) to the people of Subang. This annual routine activity was held at the Subang Grand Mosque, on Wednesday, March 20, 2024.
Chairman of DAHANA’s SER Unit, Eman Suherman, said that monthly distribution of takjil of Ramadan has become the culture of the Company’s SER unit. Apart from easing the economic burden on the community, the distribution of takjil is also a form of the Company’s support for the socio-religious sector, especially for the people of Subang.
“We hope that DAHANA’s supply of takjil can also encourage people to share with each other, especially in this month full of blessings. Sharing with each other will certainly strengthen our value of mutual cooperation as an Indonesian nation. Hopefully this takjil can provide benefits and blessings for the recipients,” said Mr Suherman.
Mr Suherman also explained that the takjil packages are the result of empowerment of the MSEs of the fostered partners in helping meet the need for takjil, and therefore apart from providing benefits to takjil recipients, this can absorb the products of the MSEs of the fostered partners, as well as encourage the economic turnover of the fostered partners.
In addition to that, DAHANA wished to be present among the community in carrying out worship in the holy month of Ramadan. As the mecca for explosives in Indonesia, DAHANA is committed to progressing and developing together with the community.
“Hopefully in this holy month of Ramadan, we will not only increase our personal worship, but also increase our social worship, so that Ramadan can have an impact on society at large,” concluded Mr Suherman.
