PT DAHANA participated in the 2025 Defense Attaché Tour, which gathered defense attachés from 46 countries. This event was organized by the Directorate of International Defense Cooperation, Directorate General of Defense, Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia, and took place at the Vasa Hotel in Surabaya from May 25 to 28, 2025. During the event, DAHANA showcased its explosives and presented its defense capabilities to the attending defense attachés on May 26, 2025.
Ahmad Fachruddin, DAHANA’s General Manager of Oil, Gas, and Military, expressed appreciation for the opportunity to participate in the event. He highlighted that this forum allows the Indonesian defense industry—particularly DAHANA—to introduce its superior products, which include military explosives, weapon systems, and other supporting technologies.
“Thank you to the Indonesian Ministry of Defense for providing us this opportunity, and a warm welcome to all the defense attachés present today. As a leading player in Indonesian explosives, DAHANA has developed proven defense products such as Defense Rockets, the Bomb P series, and various other explosives, all developed by the best talents of Indonesia. You can view these products at our booth,” stated Mr Fachruddin.
At the Welcome Dinner held the previous evening, Brigadier General Airlangga, Director of International Defense Cooperation at the Ministry of Defense, noted that the Defense Attaché Tour is held annually to introduce local culture and the defense industry, while also fostering relationships with local governments.
Colonel Miloye Zdavkovic, Dean of Military Attachés from Serbia, expressed gratitude for the warm hospitality extended by Indonesian representatives, emphasizing that this reflects the East Java motto, which indicates that success requires struggle.
During the exhibition, which included participation from Holding BUMN DEFEND ID and other defense industry players, defense attachés had the opportunity to observe DAHANA’s product capabilities firsthand and discuss potential collaborations, including strategic partnerships and joint technology development.
“PT DAHANA, as part of DEFEND ID, is dedicated to maintaining a spirit of independence and innovation. We aim to strengthen our position as a strategic partner for the national defense system while opening up opportunities for global synergies in the defense industry, particularly in military explosives,” concluded Mr Fachruddin.
