Hundreds of public relations practitioners from various government agencies as well as State-owned and regional-owned enterprises and participated in enlivening the peak of the Indonesia’s public relations events, Public Relations Indonesia Award (PRIA) on Thursday, March 28, 2019.
The event, which was held at The Trans Luxury Hotel Bandung, was the 4th annual award event of Indonesian PR media. The city of Bandung was the venue for this prestigious event. West Java Province Governor Ridwan Kamil was also present at the celebration.
During his remarks, Indonesian PR Founder & CEO Aswono Wikan, said that prior to the peak event, the PRIA 2019 competition had been working with several institutions for three months such as Corporations, Ministries, Institutions and Regional Governments.
Ten categories were contested namely Owned Media Category, K Digital Channels, PR Programs, CSR Programs, Crisis Handling, Manuals (Public Relations Guidelines, PR Departments, Annual Reports, Brand Visual Identity, and Most Popular in the Media)
15 judges were involved to determine the award winner. The judges consisted of PR experts, senior PR practitioners, PR consultants /agencies, and public relations associations / organizations.
On this occasion, the explosive-producing SOE companies domiciled in Subang Regency, namely PT DAHANA (Persero) was awarded with the PRIA 2019 Bronze Winner for the category of Social-Digital Media category. The award was received directly by DAHANA Corporate Secretary, Asep Maskandar.
Asep also said that the award was a pride as well as a trigger for more sustainable improvement of public relations performance. “Public Relations is the spearhead of the company, that’s for sure. This award is a form of external assessment to our public relations section. Therefore, it is very necessary for DAHANA PR to continue to improve its performance in the future,” said Asep Maskandar.
