On Monday, February 17, 2025, Hary Irmawan, the President Director of PT DAHANA, visited Suryadharma Airbase in Subang, West Java. He was warmly welcomed by Air Commodore TNI Sapuan, S.Sos., M.M., CHRMP., the Commander of R. Suryadi Suryadarma Airbase, along with other officials from the Air Base.

During his visit, Mr. Irmawan emphasized that it aimed to strengthen the company’s relationships with stakeholders in Subang. DAHANA has a close historical connection with the Indonesian Air Force, having originated from the Air Force’s Menang Project.

“This gathering is an excellent opportunity to deepen our relationships with stakeholders in Subang. As a friendly meeting, we hope it can bring us good fortune and long-lasting connections. We also express our sincere gratitude for the warm welcome we have received,” stated Mr Irmawan.

PT DAHANA specializes in energetic materials and is now considered the leading explosives company in Indonesia. The company not only caters to commercial blasting needs but is also trusted to supply military explosives.

Since 2022, DAHANA has been part of the BUMN DEFEND ID holding company, which has a special mandate to support Indonesia’s Main Weapons System Equipment, particularly in the explosives sector, and to help advance the Indonesian defense industry’s competitiveness in the global defense supply chain.

In response to the visit, the Commander of Suryadarma Airbase expressed his honor at receiving DAHANA, especially for the valuable assistance the company has provided, such as offering a training ground for securing National Vital Objects.

Joining from Suryadarma Air Force Base, along with the Airbase Commander, Air Wing 8 Commander, Colonel Pnb Tarmuji Hadi Susanto; Chief of Air Potemtial Division, Colonel Tomi Wahyu Ismailiana; and Chief of Intelligence, Major Sus Ashari Rahman, S.Sos.
