Dahana organized an Early Detection, Prevention, and Overcoming of Narcotics event for its workforce as part of the Occupation Safety Health and Environment (K3LH) program. The event took place on Friday, December 19, 2025, at four locations: the Auditorium, the Cartridge Emulsion Factory, the Non-Electric Detonator Factory, and the Security Post at Dahana’s Central Management Office in Subang. The event was attended by employees from various units.

Safira Aulia Rinanda, Dahana’s K3LH program Manager, emphasized that this initiative reflects the company’s commitment to maintaining productivity and workplace safety.

“This event aims to facilitate the early detection of drug use within our company environment. Our primary objective is to prevent health issues and reduce the risk of workplace accidents that can arise from illicit drug use. We want to ensure that every individual working at Dahana is in optimal condition and free from the influence of harmful substances,” said Ms Rinanda.

During the event, Dahana collaborated with the Sumedang Regency National Narcotics Agency. The agency representatives provided education on the different classifications of narcotics, their harmful effects on physical health and the central nervous system, as well as the risks of permanent dependence and overdose. Employees actively participated in the counseling sessions, demonstrating their support for the initiative.

Additionally, Ms Rinanda noted that this screening aligns with the national policy on the Prevention, Eradication, Abuse, and Illicit Trafficking of Narcotics (P4GN). She hopes that Dahana will set a positive example in combating drugs in the workplace.

“Our goal after this event is to establish a work environment that is consistently free from drugs. We hope that all Dahana employees will become more aware of the dangers of narcotics and jointly commit to maintaining the company’s integrity and reputation,” concluded Ms Rinanda.
