PT Dahana officially launched the Dahana Olympics as part of its 59th anniversary celebrations on Friday, August 29, 2025. The event took place in Subang and was attended by employees from various work units, including those from both the Subang and Jakarta offices.
In his opening remarks, Mohamad Nur Sodiq, Director of Finance, Risk Management, and Human Resources at PT Dahana, highlighted the theme for this year’s anniversary, Unite to Ignite. This theme is the driving force behind Dahana employees’ efforts to unite and energize themselves as they face future business challenges.
Unite to Ignite signifies our commitment to fostering new enthusiasm, innovation, and energy in our work. During this period of economic recovery, it is crucial for us to remain united, collaborate to overcome existing challenges, and continue to establish Dahana as a significant player in the global explosives market,” Mr Sodiq stated.
The Unite to Ignite theme reflects the strong competitive spirit of Dahana employees while also emphasizing their willingness to work together for the company’s advancement. Mr Sodiq expressed his hope that all Dahana employees would shine collectively, demonstrating enhanced productivity.
The opening ceremony of the Dahana Olympics featured various events, including preliminary rounds in volleyball and badminton. The matches were exciting, showcasing participants’ competitive spirit alongside their commitment to team harmony.
This opening ceremony marked the beginning of a series of Dahana Olympics events that will continue until the anniversary culminates in October. The committee has organized a variety of sports and arts competitions, as well as a Social and Environmental Responsibility Week (TJSL).
Mr Sodiq encouraged everyone to view the 59th anniversary celebrations as more than just an annual event. He hoped that they will be regarded as a new opportunity for Dahana to achieve even greater heights, surpassing its current accomplishments.
“At 59 years old, (we believe) our predecessors have achieved many milestones for the company. Therefore, as a gesture of gratitude, we must maximize our potential to advance Dahana,” concluded Mr Sodiq.
