Signing of receipt of direct payment of compensation and the release of PT DAHANA (Persero) land rights for the construction of the Sadawarna Dam took place at the campus of PT DAHANA (Persero),
The government through the State Asset Management Institute has settled compensation for Dahana land. The settlement was marked by the signing of the minutes of receipt of direct payments made by the Head of Subang Regency Land Agency, Joko Susanto, Head of PPK Asep Sapaat with the President Director of PT DAHANA (Persero) Budi Antono at the Workshop and Training Building in the Dahana Campus.
The Head of the Subang Regency Land Agency in his remarks said that this was the first payment for the compensation of land for the construction of the Sadawarna Dam.
“To Dahana this is the initial payment. Dahana’s land area allowed for the dam is almost 72 hectares or around 30% of the total dam area, “said Joko Susanto.
According to Joko, the Sadawarna Dam is expected to be able to overcome the increasing need for irrigation and water and to overcome the flooding problem in Subang and its surroundings.
The area of land released by Dahana for the Sadawarna Dam was 719,755 m2, located in Sadawarna Village, Cibogo District. Meanwhile, the value of land acquisition for the construction of the Sadawarna Dam for Dahana amounted to Rp. 63.7 billion.
The event was also attended by the Commitment Making Official, Subang Regency Land Agency, BBWSC, Bank BNI Subang Branch and elements of Cibogo District region heads.
In his remarks Budi Antono thanked all parties involved in the process of releasing DAHANA’s land rights for the construction of the Sadawarna dam. “We thank BPN, PPK, BBWSC, KJPP, the region heads, Cibogo District and Sadawarna Village and our partner Bank BNI,” said Budi.
He continued that DAHANA strongly supports the acceleration of the completion of the national strategic project in accordance with the acceleration of the infrastructure development program dictated by President of the Republic of Indonesia for the benefit of the community. “Hopefully the Sadawarna Dam construction process can run smoothly and timely that it can immediately provide benefits to the community,” he said.
For your information, the construction of the Sadawarna dam is a national strategic project, as stated in the Republic of Indonesia Presidential Regulation No. 3 of 2016 concerning the Acceleration of the Implementation of National Strategic Projects. The dam is planned to hold a capacity of 49M³ and is expected to be capable of irrigating 6,000 Ha of land in Subang and Indramayu, reduce flood discharge by 316 M³ per second sec, and provide water supply of 0.50 M³ per second.
