PT DAHANA inaugurated the Integrated Security System for Ring 1 Area at the Energetic Material Center (EMC), Subang, West Java, on Monday, July 7, 2025. DAHANA’s President Director, Hary Irmawan, directly led the ceremony as a confirmation of the Company’s commitment to strengthening supervision of strategic areas through modern technology and the latest security regulations.
In his remarks, Mr Irmawan emphasized PT DAHANA’s commitment to operational security and efficiency. He said that this transformation was carried out to strengthen the foundation of comprehensive supervision in order to create a safe working environment and support the sustainability of the national explosives industry.
“As a leading Indonesian explosives company, as well as a National Vital Object, we take operational security and safety as our main concerns. The Integrated Security System for Ring 1 Area is the company’s step to ensure the safety and comfort of both employees and visitors, as well as a decarbonization effort to support sustainable business,” said Mr Irmawan.
PT DAHANA management makes Area Ring 1 the main focus as this route directly connects to the explosives production facility and is the entry and exit point for personnel and vehicles. To that end, the Company has built an integrated security system that includes automatic gates, real-time fibre optic CCTV, and electric vehicles (EVs) as a means of internal mobility such as electric motorbikes, electric bicycles, and electric-powered shuttle units.
In addition, PT DAHANA has also added supporting facilities such as internal SPKLU for EVs, prayer rooms, canteens, and larger parking areas. Furthermore, the company has also installed international standard safety signage and determined the use of customized helmet colors to identify personnel in accordance with the latest procedures.
Security protocols have also been made stricter, in that both employees and guests are required to use official access cards with special helmets and name tags.
To support the strengthening of professionalism values in facing the latest industry challenges, PT DAHANA has also implemented the latest corporate identity in facilities in Area Ring 1 with a bold and representative visual appearance.
“In addition to green building, we are also using environmentally friendly technology and digitalization as an effort to support decarbonization. Currently, PT DAHANA is utilizing automation systems and electric vehicles to reduce carbon footprints and increase daily operational efficiency,” added Mr Irmawan.
Also present at the inauguration ceremony were the Board of Directors, Echelon 1 & 2 Officials of PT DAHANA Subang. After praying and taking photograph, all Directors visited the Ring 1 Area with the available electric vehicles.
