PT Dahana held a blood donation drive for the general public as part of its 59th anniversary celebrations. Over 80 participants from various community groups attended the event, which took place at the Subang Square Hall on Sunday, September 28, 2025.

Mashuri, Senior Corporate Planning Officer and Chair of the 59th Anniversary Committee, emphasized that the blood drive is one of Dahana’s initiatives to continue its involvement in the development of the Subang community, specifically by donating blood to support individuals in need of transfusions.

“Through this blood drive at Subang Square, we want to highlight that Dahana’s presence in Subang is not solely for industrial benefits, but also for the welfare of the community. As we approach our 59th anniversary, we wish to express our gratitude to the community for supporting Dahana’s business continuity in Subang,” said Mr Mashuri.

He added that blood donation plays a vital role in saving lives. Every bag of blood collected can assist patients in various situations, including those experiencing accidents, undergoing major surgery, mothers facing complications during childbirth, and individuals with chronic diseases that require regular transfusions. A single donation can save more than one life.

In addition to saving lives, blood donation also benefits the donor. By donating blood regularly, the body stimulates the formation of new blood cells, thereby maintaining the donor’s health. This dual benefit makes blood donation a humanitarian act with a widespread impact.

This blood drive was conducted in collaboration with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) Subang, which provided medical personnel and a blood management system to ensure that every bag of blood collected can be promptly distributed to those in need. Participants also received a basic health check to ensure that only blood meeting health standards was used.

Meanwhile, Mega, a Junior Officer of Supply Management at PT Dahana who coordinated the blood drive, expressed her deep appreciation for the community’s enthusiasm in participating. She hoped the blood drive will raise awareness in Subang about the importance of regularly donating blood to maintain their health and help others.

“We extend our deepest gratitude to all participants who voluntarily donated blood today. May every drop of blood you donate be a good deed that brings health, safety, and blessings to both donors and recipients,” Ms Mega concluded.
