Dahana held a hybrid ceremony to celebrate its 59th anniversary at the Dahana Auditorium in Subang on Tuesday, October 22, 2025. Themed “Unite to Ignite,” PT Dahana’s President Director, Hary Irmawan, encouraged all company employees to reflect on the company’s long journey and come together to spark new energy as they face the upcoming challenges.
In his remarks to the Board of Directors and attending employees, Mr Irmawan emphasized that the theme carries significant meaning for the company’s future. The anniversary is also a time to reflect on Dahana’s history of innovation, its contributions to the nation, and its commitment to integrity in every endeavor.
“Going forward, Dahana will face challenges that are bound to become increasingly complex. Therefore, I urge all of us to continue innovating, to keep learning, and to always uphold integrity in every action and decision. Let us forge ahead, not only excelling in technology but also serving as a model for business ethics and good governance,” Mr Irmawan stated.
Following the Company’s founding in 1966 with the Menang Project, Dahana has evolved into a strong and competitive national explosives company. For nearly six decades, the company has successfully navigated various phases and challenges thanks to the unwavering spirit and hard work of its entire team.
“I personally feel a deep sense of pride in all the accomplishments that Dahana has achieved to date. None of this would have been possible without the exceptional dedication of all Dahana employees—both those currently active and those who laid the foundation for our journey up to this point,” Mr Irmawan added.
The highlight of the 59th anniversary celebration was a vibrant event attended by the entire Board of Directors. The series of activities included a tumpeng (yellow steam rice cone) cutting ceremony, awards for outstanding employees, and the announcement of winners from various internal competitions.
Meanwhile, Mashuri, Chair of the Dahana 59th Anniversary Committee, reported that all activities went smoothly and received appreciation from the surrounding community, particularly during Dahana’s Community Service Week, which exemplifies the company’s commitment to growth and progress alongside the community.
“We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the board of commissioners and directors who supported this event, our fellow Dahana employees for their active participation, and especially to the committee members who worked hard over the past few months to make our 59th anniversary a success.
