Jakarta – PT Dahana has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Research and Innovation Agency regarding research and the utilization of research results and innovations in the field of strategic industrial technology. The signing ceremony took place on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, in Jakarta.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed directly by the President Director of PT Dahana, Hary Irmawan, and the Deputy for Research and Innovation Utilization at BRIN, Dr. R. Hendrian, M.Sc.

This collaboration represents a strategic step in strengthening synergy between the research community and the national industry, particularly in the development of innovative, competitive strategic industrial technologies that support national self-reliance.

PT Dahana’s President Director, Hary Irmawan, stated that the collaboration with BRIN is part of the company’s commitment to strengthening national technological mastery through the development of applied and sustainable research.

“The collaboration between PT Dahana and BRIN is expected to accelerate the commercialization of national research and innovation outcomes into products and technologies that provide tangible benefits for Indonesia’s strategic industries,” said Hary Irmawan.

Meanwhile, BRIN Deputy for Research and Innovation Utilization Dr. R. Hendrian, M.Sc., noted that this collaboration is a concrete effort to align national research capabilities with industrial needs.

“BRIN continues to promote the utilization of research outcomes and innovations so that they can be optimally implemented by the national industry, thereby enhancing competitiveness and supporting the development of Indonesia’s strategic technologies,” he said.
