In celebration of its 59th anniversary, PT Dahana launched its 2025 Social and Environmental Responsibility (SER) Week by organizing competitions for preschool, kindergarten, and Islamic elementary school students across Subang Regency. The event took place at Bale Dahana on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, and was attended by over 500 children from various schools.

On the first day, three competitions were held: a drawing competition, a Pildacil competition, and a traditional West Javanese gamelan competition. The atmosphere was lively, filled with the enthusiasm of the participants and the supportive cheers from parents who attended to encourage their children.

The event was officially opened by PT Dahana’s Senior Manager of Corporate Communications & SER, Cipta Ismaya Kusumah. In his remarks, he emphasized that the SER Week is an annual event held by the company as part of its anniversary celebrations.

“Dahana’s SER Week 2025 is a significant opportunity for the company to share joy with the community, particularly with students in Subang Regency. This year, Dahana is hosting competitions for early childhood education (PAUD), kindergarten, and Islamic boarding school students, followed by events for elementary, junior high, and high school students,” said Mr Kusumah.

In addition to bringing joy to children, SER Week showcases PT Dahana’s commitment to supporting the development of the younger generation through educational, artistic, cultural, and religious activities.

As a state-owned enterprise affiliated with DEFEND ID and operating in the explosives industry for the mining, oil and gas, and military sectors, Dahana consistently prioritizes sustainability and social responsibility. The SER program demonstrates that Dahana’s presence contributes not only to strategic industries but also benefits the wider community.

The 2025 Dahana SER Week series will continue with various competitions extending to high school levels, along with several other social activities.
