In order to help prevent the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic, especially in the Cibogo District area, PT DAHANA (Persero) worked together with Cibogo District Government bodies for appliaction of disinfectant spraying tp all public facilities such as worship, education, and public services facilities throughout the Cibogo District. Disinfectant spraying takes place in rotation for three days until March 31, 2020.

PT DAHANA (Persero)’s Community Development Department Eman Suherman explained, the disinfectant spraying activity was a follow up of the previous activities that had been carried out in the Sadawarna Village area.
“We are expanding the area, so it’s not only in Sadawarna, but also throughout the Cibogo District area, “said Eman.

Speaking during the the spraying activities, Sri Novia, the District Head of Cibogo District said that she welcomed the disinfectant spraying activities carried out by PT DAHANA (Persero) in her jusridiction. In addition, she directly and indirectly appealed the whole community through public banner media on ways to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
“In addition to the appeal, we will also conduct counseling to ensure that the public get better comprehension on the Covid-19 pandemic,” she said.
A similar comment was also conveyed by Cibogo Police Chief Iptu Asep, S.IP. The police especially through their Community Service department continuously make a resquest to the community to reduce activities outside the home.
“Yes, for the time being, the community is requested not to gather in public gatherings as this is in high risk of increasing the spread of the virus. Therefore we have to conduct community patrols and warn people to maintain safe social and physical distance while being in groups,” he said.
As already known, the central government has determined the Status of Specific Disasters Emergency Diseases of the COVID-19 Disease in Indonesia for 91 days, starting from 29 February to 29 May 2020. In addition to disinfectants spraying, within DAHANA’s internal environment, PT DAHANA (Persero) has implemented the corona virus spread prevention protocol by forming an Internal Prevention Task Force.

Every single person entering the DAHANA Energetic Material Center area including employees, vendors and guests are required to have their body temperature checked in advance at each entrance post of the DAHANA EMC area. Those with a a body temperature above 37.5° Celsius are not permitted to enter the DAHANA EMC area and will be taken to the DAHANA health service for further examination. The procedure follows an appeal letter issued by the Indonesian Ministry of Health.
