The Subang Regency Government has set zero stunting target in its area in order to implement the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) program. DAHANA, through its Social and Environmental Responsibility division, has been actively involved in stunting eradication programs in Subang Regency.

“We are committed to realizing zero stunting target, especially in Subang Regency. We won’t let another child in Subang suffer from malnutrition,” said Eman Suherman, Head of  DAHANA’s Community Development and Partnership program.

According to Eman, the stunting that encountered by Subang Regency can be resolved as can be seen from the declining data of stunting each year. He is optimistic that Subang can be free from stunting problems as soon as possible and is ready to collaborate with related parties for acceleration of  stunting eradication.

Apart from that, the socialization of PMT program serves as a forum for improving gender equality which is one of the focuses of  SDGs. This is reflected in the active participation of women in the stunting eradication program, female health center cadres who are at the forefront of the PMT socialization program at the grassroots level.

In addition to Eman, this PMT outreach activity also involved Mulyana, the Head of the Nutrition Section of the Sadawarna Health Center, Yuyun and Anggi from the Village Midwife, as well as Posyandu’s female cadres from seven Posyandus in Sadawarna Village. (yz)
