SUBANG – PT DAHANA’s Social and Environmental Responsibility (SER) Unit provided assistance in the YARMIC Middle School Education with clean water facilities. The assistance was handed over by the Head of the SER Unit Eman Suherman to the Chairperson of the YARMIC Middle School Foundation Ushtin Nur Irawan in Wanajaya village, Ciasem, Subang, Tuesday, May 16, 2023.
Mr Suherman said that, as a company operating in Subang, PT DAHANA continues to maintain its commitment to growing and developing with the surrounding community. The provision of clean water is a manifestation of the Company’s commitment to help make sure that students at YARMIC Middle School can carry out the learning process well.
“The provision of clean water is a manifestation of the company’s commitment to the surrounding community to ensure its advancement and development especially in the field of education. Hopefully l the students at YARMIC Middle School can carry out the learning process comfortably,” said Mr Suherman.
Mr Suherman added that the company’s concern for the education sector is the effort to advance Subang’s future. According to him, a good education will guarantee a good future, where students who are still studying today will be future leaders.
He also explained that in carrying out its activities, DAHANA’s SER always runs in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) program which is a global and national commitment; one of them being the quality education and clean water and sanitation.
Meanwhile, Mr Irawan welcomed the assistance from DAHANA. He expressed his gratitude for the explosives company’s concern for his educational institution. He also hoped that DAHANA can become an example so that other companies care more about the environment around them.
“We express our deepest gratitude for the clean water facility provided by DAHANA. We hope that this will serve as an example of how the company can provide benefits to the surrounding community, especially in the terms of education. Hopefully DAHANA will become a more advanced and developing company,” said Mr Irawan.
In view of education assistance, DAHANA’s SER is also known as the front liners who provided assistance with facilities when schools in Subang Regency were in need of school desks and benches. In addition to that, DAHANA also built a Nursery Edu Park facility as a practice space for students majoring in agriculture.
