DAHANA delivered assistance of 15 trash cans and 200 tree seedlings as DAHANA’s support in maintaining environmental cleanliness and re-greening program.

In commemoration of the 74th anniversary of Indonesia’s Army, the Commander of Suryadarma Airbase in Kalijati, Subang, Air Vice Marshall I Wayan Sulaba and his staff invited all levels of the community to deliver community service to clean the Cigadung River channel located in the Subang District.

The community service work was held on Thursday morning, September 26, 2019 at the Uyuh Gate located on Jl. Arief Rahman Hakim Subang Regency. The community service was attended by several agencies including members of the Army, Police, State-owned Enterprises, private companies and community from various circles.

PT DAHANA (Persero) participated in and supported the program of community service initiated by Suryadarma Kalijati Airbase Commander. On this occasion, DAHANA delivered assistance of 15 trash cans and 200 tree seedlings as a form of DAHANA’s support in maintaining environmental cleanliness and re-greening program as part of SOEs Presence for the Country program implementation.

The aid was handed over symbolically and witnessed by the Suryadarma Kalijati Subang Airbase Commander, Air Vice Marshall I Wayan Sulaba and Deputy Regent of Subang Agus Masykur Rosyadi during the event.

In his remarks, Suryadarma Kalijati Airbase Commander, Air Vice Marshall I Wayan Sulaba invited all people to protect the environment, especially the river basin.

“I hope that the community is aware of the importance of protecting the environment. No more people throw garbage into the river basin because it can cause the river to become dirty and floods when the rainy season comes,” he said.

Meanwhile, Deputy Regent of Subang Agus Masykur Rosyadi expressed his gratitude to all of the people involved in this community service program.

“Especially to Surayadarma Airbase Commander and staff, members of the Army and the Police, State-Owned and Private Enterprise agencies and all the people who have participate and supported the community service program so that it can run safely and smoothly,” he said.
