PT DAHANA’s fostered partners are back on the air in the international market. This time, five Subang MSEs engaged in the culinary have their products promoted at Angsana Johor Bahru Mall Halal Corner, Malaysia from March 10, 2023.

Head of DAHANA’s Social and Environmental Responsibility (SER) unit, Eman Suherman said that this promotion opportunity was the result of DAHANA’s collaboration with the Subang SME’s Office for Integrated Business Service Center (PLUT KUMKM) which promoted MSME products with the Indonesian Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises during a visit to Malaysia last January.

“DAHANA is seriously committed to raising the level Subang MSEs towards the global level. Therefore, we are intensively conducting training such as marketing training, packaging assistance, to export training. Thank God, until now, many SME’s products have been absorbed by international consumers’ subscriptions,” said Mr Suherman.

Mr Suherman also expressed his gratitude to PLUT KUMKM of Subang Regency, and the Indonesian Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises for facilitating DAHANA’s fostered partners to penetrate the Malaysian market. He also hoped that the fostered partners can expand the market and help boost the economy of the Subang people.

The five fostered partners participating in this activity were Alam Sari Pineapple Chips from Jalancagak, Ananda Pineapple Chips from Dawuan, Mulqi Banana Chips from Sagalaherang, Dried Cimol Suksok from Solat, and RN Bersaudara Breadfruit Chips from Cijambe.

“Hopefully the five fostered partners can further develop in Malaysia, so that they can motivate other MSEs to elevate their grade and compete to improve the quality and quantity for better introduction to the international community,” said Mr Suherman.

Meanwhile, the Head of PLUT KUMKM Subang, Nanah Rukanah explained the location of the Mall where the Subang MSEs products are displayed is in southern Malaysia not far from the Singapore border. Apart from being visited by many Malaysians, this shopping center also enjoy the visit of many Singaporeans. It is expected hoped that Subang MSMe’s products interest large distributors from both Malaysia and Singapore.

“This is a trial phase for product marketing to Malaysia. We will see the response for the first month. If the results are good, we will later try to market more MSME’s products in Subang there,” he said.
