PT DAHANA (Persero) gave free mobile medical treatment which focused on Cibalandong and Padaasih villages in  Cibogo District, Subang Regency. The program which was made in collaboration with the Cibogo District Health Center included in the 2021 DAHANA CSR Week series lasted for two days, from 14 to 15 October 2021.

 

According to the Head of DAHANA’s Social and Environmental Responsibility Unit, Eman Suherman, this Free Mobile Medicine is a form of DAHANA’s concern for the health of Subang residents, especially those in Cibogo District.

 

“This free mobile treatment is DAHANA’s effort in support to the health of the Subang community, especially those residing around the company, especially amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, where it is necessary for the public to maintain good physical condition,” said Mr Suherman.

 

Mr Suherman also conveyed that the concept of Free Mobile Medicine was intentionally initiated to to prevent the accumulation of participants at Bale DAHANA, which was previously held on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, as well as an effort to facilitate ampler public access to DAHANA’s free medical facilities with which people did not have to walk their way to Bale DAHANA.

 

A total of 500 participants consisting of 250 residents of Cibalandong village and 250 residents of Padaasih village received free medical treatment services, most of them come for diabetes and cholesterol checks. Free mobile medical participants also got consultations on healthy lifestyles to prevent disease, as well as awareness of the importance of health in the pandemic era.

 

Ahmad, one of the participants of the free mobile medicine, expressed his appreciation to DAHANA for the initiative of  coming directly to the people’s residence. Mr Ahmad said that the program was very good, especially to increase public awareness of the importance of health in the midst of the ongoing epidemic.

 

“We also thank DAHANA for providing such a free treatment as this gives easier access to community to reach health facilities. It is our hope that DAHANA, which reaches the age of 55 years, DAHANA will get better and better,” said Mr Ahmad
