PT DAHANA (Persero) won two awards at the TOP CSR AWARDS 2021 event. The awards included TOP CSR Awards 2021 Star 4 for DAHANA, and TOP Leader on CSR Commitment 2021 for President Director Budi Antono. The awards were received directly by Budi Antono in Raffles Hotel Jakarta on April 22, 2021.
DAHANA has been a state-owned explosive industry that received the TOP CSR Awards during the last few years.
DAHANA, through its Social and Environmental Responsibility Program (SERP) has seen its effective program implementation starting from provision of assistance to people affected by Covid-19, relief of natural disasters, to helping DAHANA partners in marketing their products in the international market. DAHANA’s CSR capabilities are proven as this explosives company serves as chairman of the Subang Regency Social and Environmental Responsibility (SERP).
“DAHANA’s Community Development and Partnership programs which have been implemented in accordance with Corporate Share Value (CSV) have been well recognized. Hopefully DAHANA will continue to maintain such achievements,” explained Budi Antono.
Under the theme “The Strategic Role of CSR in Supporting Business Sustainability in the New Normal Time”, the award event which was organized by Top Business Magazine aims to give the highest award to companies that are considered successful in implementing effective and quality CSR/Community Development and Partnership program effectively in Indonesia.
“This activity also massively encourages the adoption of more effective, strategic and innovative CSR based on ISO 26000 to companies in Indonesia, while playing a joint role in improving business and socio-economic environmental conditions, and encouraging proper implementation of GCG,” said the Chief Editor of Top Business Magazine, Lutfi. Handayani.
The assessment process was conducted a strict manner and managed by well-known judges with various expertise backgrounds. 850 companies competed to present their CSR program concepts and innovations online and assessed by the Judges after which several finalists were selected for the TOP CSR AWARDS 2021.
