DAHANA’s Partnership and Community Development Program (PKBL) once again contributed to the Subang community. This time, by delivering educational assistance to several institutions in order to help develop the nation’s life, in accordance with the mandate of the opening of the 1945 Constitution. The assistance was delivered throughout the third week of December 2020.

On December 21, 2020, the DAHANA PKBL Team visited the Al Fahmi Special School located in Padaasih Village, Cibogo District, Subang Regency to provide aids for construction of school fence. Head of PKBL DAHANA Eman Suherman was welcomed by the Principal Meti Mudiati. According to Eman, this assistance is intended to provide safety and security for students of Al Fahmi special school duringt he learning process.

After delivering for Al Fahmi Special School, DAHANA PKBL Team continued its tour Bina Insan preschool Sumurbarang Village. On this occasion, Eman Suherman handed over assistance for provision of clean water facility by drilling a water source at a depth of 35 meters, as well as a water pump. This assistance was intended to make sure that the academic community at Bina Insan PAUD can carry out the educational process with readily available fresh water which is now difficult to get in Subang due to the prolonged dry season.

Leaving Bina Insan preschool, the team then returned to the DAHANA Campus to get some rest. The next day, December 22, 2020, the team left for Pasirkareumbi Village to visit Subang Regency Association of Indonesian Football to provide soccer ball facilities that were received by Treasurer Iman Mutaqien who was accompanied by dozens of students from the Subang Regency Indonesian Football Association.

Eman hoped that the assistance to the Subang Regency Indonesian Football Association can contribute to the development of the capacity of students in training to become professional footballers, and that one day the young footballers in Subang can play for the Garuda Indonesia National Team and bring the name Subang to the world. Iman also welcomed idea.

“We would like to thank DAHANA for their assistance to us, I hope the children will get more enthusiastic in practicing and in achieving their dreams of becoming professional soccer players,” said Iman.

DAHANA PKBL then continued to provide assistance for renovating the toilets at Bahrul Ulum Islamic Boarding School located in Cigadung Village. This is considered important, because in recent times, the santri (boarding students) at the Bahrul Ulum Islamic Boarding School have experienced a little difficulty and have to take turns for wash up. This assistance was well received by the Head of Ponpes Zakiah Solihat.

As a state-owned company engaged in the explosives industry, DAHANA is committed to continuing to take parts in helping with the development of Indonesian Human Resources, especially in Subang Regency.
