PT DAHANA (Persero) held a virtual Halal Bihalal (an event for asking and giving forgiveness) for Idul Fitri 1442 AH by means of a video conference attended by the Board of Commissioners, Board of Directors, and DAHANA employees from all over Indonesia on Tuesday (18/05/21).

In his remarks, DAHANA’s President Director, Budi Antono, on behalf of the management, wished happy Eid Al-Fitr, 1442 AH. Budi also congratulated the new commissioner Rizky Olyvia Nasution, who has become a member of PT DAHANA (Persero) since May 6, 2021.

Budi Antono also conveyed that  despite the Covid-19 pandemic that hit various sectors of life, including the economic sector, DAHANA managed to record positive results in 2020.

“Of course this is the result of the collective work of all Dahana’s people, ranging from employees who are at the forefront, directors, as well as direction and guidance from the Board of Commissioners. We thank you for your contribution, “said Budi.

Meanwhile, DAHANA President Commissioner Vice Admiral Donny Ermawan Taufanto, M.D.S. appreciated the online halal bihalal event by DAHANA on this occasion, saying that the doing it virtually was an effort to suppress the increase of Covid-19 cases in Indonesia.

“This pandemic is not over yet. I hope that the entire DAHANA family can comply with government instructions as not to carry  activities that invite crowd as to prevent us from contributing to the increase in the number of Covid-19 cases in Indonesia,” said Donny.

Donny also hoped that this halal bihalal event could strengthen friendship for the entire DAHANA family so that they might create a sense of togetherness regardless of ethnicity, race and religion. Because this halal bihalal event is not only a celebration at the end of the fasting month, but also a gesture for elevating the sense of togetherness amidst diversity.

“The lesson we took from the fasting that we have carried out during the holy month of Ramadan is that we go back to our nature as human beings who have faith and good character,” said Donny. (rmt)
