TAKALAR – PT DAHANA’s President Director, Wildan Widarman accompanied by the General Manager of the Quarry and Construction Division, Setio Budhianto visited the Pamukkulu Dam. During the visit, Mr Widarman was welcomed by the Sulawesi Regional Operational Manager for Quarry & Construction Division Yondra Feta Erizal at the DAHANA project site, Takalar, South Sulawesi, on Thursday, November 17, 2022.

The President Director’s visit was made to review DAHANA’s performance in the dam construction process which is included in the National Strategic Project (PSN) program. During the visit, Mr Widarman appreciated the performance of PT Nindya karya and PT Wika-DMT (KSO) which is DAHANA team for serving consumers at the Pamukkulu Dam.

“Thanks to DAHANA site team for delivering their best performance, in accordance with AKHLAK’s core values, namely competence. Hopefully, the team members will always be in good health condition in carrying out their daily tasks to build the Pamukkulu Dam which will later become a new source of economy for the people of South Sulawesi,” said Mr Widarman.

In addition to that, the DAHANA group also received a presentation on the development of the dam from the Project Manager of PT Nindya Karya Pamukkulu Dam Project, Djirzise Abdul Hakim F.

“We appreciate the performance and are grateful for the support of the DAHANA Team so far and ask for their continuous support until the dam construction project is completed,” said Mr Hakim.

PT DAHANA has been performing work on the National Strategic Project (PSN) located in Takalar Regency, South Sulawesi, since November 2019, namely the construction of the Pamukkulu Dam with a target of completion in the first quarter of 2023. The dam is expected to be utilized by the community in 2024.

Up to the present time, several DAHANA work items have reached 100%, and some are still in progress. Mr Erizal reported to the President Director that DAHANA’s employees in Pamukkulu, who are equipped with the latest blasting technology and a wealth of experience, are optimistic that they can complete the job on time with the best quality.

Meanwhile, the Quarry and Construction GM emphasized that after the Covid-19 pandemic DAHANA’s quarrying and construction sector has resumed its activities. Several projects will be carried out in 2023, some of which are the government’s National Strategic Project (PSN) for economic welfare equity, and restoring national economy.

“These projects include Services at 10 Sites of PT. Semen Indonesia Group, basting services at the Batang Toru Hydropower Plant, blasting services and Tunneling at the Pamukkulu Dam, blasting services at the Main Haul Road Project in Morowali, drilling & blasting services at the Sigli – Banda Aceh Toll Road, and blasting services at the Upper Cisokan Hydropower Plant,” concluded Mr Budhianto.
