PT DAHANA (Persero) won the Bronze Award of PR Indonesia Awards 2020 for the SOE’s Category for Sub-Website Category, which was announced by an online press conference on the PR Indonesia Magazine Youtube channel on Monday, April 20, 2020.

Public Relations Team of PT DAHANA (Persero) has made several routinely updates on various company activities to disseminate to the people of Indonesia, and especially to DAHANA’s stakeholders. The publication can be accessed on the DAHANA website, portal and bumn.go.id channel. Apart from that, DAHANA also promotes its various activities through the Dfile magazine which is a monthly publication, as well as various social media platforms.

“This award is a form of trust in Dahana for its efforts to increase public information disclosure. It is a media where the public can easily obtain information about Dahana through websites and other communication media, ” said the PT DAHANA (Persero)’s Public Relations Manager Juli Jajuli.

The fifth PR INDONESIA Awards is the most comprehensive public relations (PR) competition in Indonesia. More than 100 corporations and organizations, consisting of ministries, institutions, SOE’s, SOE’s subsidiaries, Regional-owned Enterprises, regional companies, private companies, provincial/municipal / regency governments participated in competitions that originally started in 2016.

This year, a total of 543 entries were admitted. This number increased compared to last year which was only 476 entries. The judging of the presentation session took place on 3 – 5 March 2020, while the judging of the non-presentation session was made on February 23-25, 2020. The two judging sessions were held in Jakarta and involved at least 13 judges, from senior PR practitioners, prominent journalists, senior academics to PR Gurus.

The awarding night which was originally scheduled in Semarang on April 2, 2020 was not immediately possible in view of the increasingly widespread Covid-19 pandemic. “Therefore, after coordinating with the host of the Semarang City Government, we decided to hold PRIA 2020 online, through the PR INDONESIA Magazine Youtube channel, Monday, April 20, 2020, at 16.00 WIB,” said PR INDONESIA Founder and CEO Asmono Wikan.

Asmono said, without downgrading the value and meaning of the awarding ceremony of the PRIA, the online version of the PRIA was the most possible solution during the Covid-19 pandemic situation. “This is at the same time to obey the government’s call so that we all carry out activities and work from home,” he added.
